First illustration in ages

I was asked to have a go at drawing Nascar racing legend Dale Earnhardt Jr, for a Hotwheels project. all i had to go on was a a crappy web pic, and i haven't actually drawn a persons face since about 2001I was a little daunted by the prospect, but i still had a crack at it.

I was more than happy with it, I felt i gave him a more heroic rolemodel look rather than cocky & smug that the photo depicted.

I am more determined than ever to get back into drawing.
